Are GreenShield™ garments flame resistant?
No, GreenShield™ garments are not flame resistant or flame retardant and should not be used around heat, flame, sparks or potentially flammable environments.
What is the shelf life of GreenShield™ garments?
GreenShield™ garments have a shelf life of at least 5 years based on hyperbaric oxidative degradation studies. High temperature, oxidizing gases, wet, cold, ultraviolet and ionizing radiation will significantly impact the long-term life of garments made of GreenShield™.
What industries do GreenShield™ garments come from?
GreenShield™ garments are collected from various industries that use the garments in non-hazardous, clean applications. Some of these industries include: pharmaceuticals, universities, semiconductors and aerospace manufacturing.
Do GreenShield™ garments discolor in storage or before use?
GreenShield™ garments may turn yellow after long-term exposure to oxidizing gases, such as nitrous oxide and exhaust from internal combustion engines.
How long will it take to receive my product?
If your product is in stock, which 95% of products are, it will ship out the next day. If the product is not in stock, your sales rep will be able to provide you with more detailed information on the ship date.
Can I receive discount pricing?
MPE’s pricing structure is set up on a tier basis. The larger the volume of cases that are purchased at one time, the lower per case cost.
How much does shipping and handling cost?
If your order totals over 50 cases then shipping is free of charge. If your order is under 50 cases, then the S&H charges vary by your location and can range between $7.30 per case to $10.08/case in the contiguous US.
How are GreenShield™ Garments Recycled?
When the garments reach our sister company, Garment Recovery Systems, processing facility, garments are put through a tested wash process, dried, quality inspected, and then packaged for sale.
